Sylhet Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries has postponed the Sylhet International Trade Fair 2016.

Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, director of SMCCI declared this on a press conference at the chamber hall yesterday afternoon.

A writ petition is filed with the Supreme Court, which ordered cancellation of all activities in Sylhet Sadar upazila field until the decision of building a school or a playground is resolved, he said, adding chamber authority postponed the fair to show respect to the law.
