SRDI staff want removal of organogram inconsistencies
Officials of Soil Resources Development Institute (SRDI) yesterday formed a human chain demanding clarifications of the inconsistencies in the newly reformed organogram of the institute.
During the process of pay scale vetting by the finance ministry, the newly-created post of director general (DG) of SRDI has been made as a post on deputation instead of being filled by cadre employees of the institute through regular promotion, they said.
Besides, holding the post of additional secretary or equivalent was imposed as another condition for the DG post.
In another move, despite there being a director post in grade-2, the post of DG was not proposed to be a grade-1 one, while another new post of director was kept under grade-3. So, in the same institute two director posts have been created under two separate grades, they said.
The gazette regarding the pay-scale vetting was published on April 30.
