Sharing success stories with youths
The Daily Star has joined hands with Rise Above All, a public speaking platform that brings together the youth and notable personalities from various fields.
The event will be hosted by Don Sumdany Facilitation and Consultancy. The theme for this year is “Beyond Boundaries”, says a press release.
The daylong event will be held this Saturday at the capital’s Krishibid Institution Bangladesh.
The guest speaker line-up is an interesting mix of famous personalities from corporate, media, and government sectors.
From the corporate and development sectors, Abdullah Hil Rakib, managing director (MD) of Team Group; Asif Saleh, executive director of Brac; Kamrul Hassan, group CEO of Igloo; Mominul Islam, MD and CEO of IPDC; and Sonia Bashir Kabir -- founder, chairperson and CEO of SBK Tech Ventures, will be present as speakers.
From the entertainment sector, actors Arifin Shuvoo and Nusrat Faria; musicians Habib Wahid and Pritom Hasan; and filmmaker Nuhash Humayun will talk at the event.
Mohibul Hasan Chowdhoury Nowfel, deputy minister for education, is the only public representative on the panel.
Interested individuals can register to partake in the event for free, but only those selected will be able to attend.
