Shahidullah Tipu no more

Md Shahidu-llah Tipu, former referee of FIFA, has died from a cardiac arrest at Feni Heart Foundation. He was 68, says a press release.

Shahidullah, also known as Shahid Referee, left behind his wife, one son, four daughters and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.

His qulkhwani and a doa mahfil will be held today after Juma prayers at a mosque in their Nizpanua village of Chhagalnaiya upazila.

His relatives, friends and admirers are requested to attend the programme and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.

Shahidullah was also a former student leader of Feni Government College and a renowned businessman of Feni town.
