Purnatmananda new principal of Ramakrishna Mission

Swami Purnatmananda Maharaj has taken charge as new principal of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka.

At the directives of board of trustees and executive committee of Belur Math, the headquarters of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Purnatmananda did so yesterday.

In 1974, Purnatmananda obtained master's degree in English from Calcutta University and joined the Ramkrishna Mission's Institute of Culture centre in Kolkata as a “Brahmachari”.

He served as the chief of Publication and Research Department of the centre for 14 years.

From 2012 to January, 2019, he served as the secretary of Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House and Cultural Centre in Kolkata.
