PM stands by Shaheed Ibrahim's family
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has come forward to help the family of Shaheed HM Ibrahim Selim who was killed in the anti-autocratic movement in 1984.
Hasina gave 15 decimals of land to Selim's daughter Nusrat Jahan Ibrahim in their hometown during a programme at Gono Bhaban yesterday afternoon.
The prime minister also arranged a job at a private bank for Nusrat's husband Kamruzzaman.
On February 28 in 1984, Selim and Kazi Delwar Hossain, two leaders of Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League, were killed after a police truck ploughed into a student demonstration against the autocratic regime of HM Ershad in Dhaka's Gulistan.
