One held with 7,500 yaba pills

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) during a drive in port city's Shikalbaha area under Karnaphuli Police Station yesterday recovered a total of 7,500 yaba pills.

The Rab personnel also arrested a person in this connection. The arrestee was identified as Shahidul, hailing from Gazipur, says a Rab press release.

On information, Rab conducted a drive in the area and intercepted a bus coming from Cox's Bazar around 12:30am, said the release.

After searching Shahidul, a passenger on the bus, Rab found the yaba tablets in his bag, it added.
