Mugda General Hospital opens telemedicine service for Dhaka-9 residents
Mugda General Hospital will start telemedicine service round the clock for the people of Dhaka-9 constituency (Sabujbagh, Basabo) from tomorrow so that people do not need to come out of home to get medical treatment.
The service includes providing advises over phone to anyone suffering from symptoms similar to those of coronavirus, such as fever, cough, breathing problems, said a press release.
Through the telemedicine service, people will also get advises on medicine, child, surgery, cardiology, ENT and orthopedic related complications.
Residents under Dhaka-9 will have to send SMS to the hospital's hotline number 01844665585 mentioning their name, address and national identity (NID) card number to avail the service.
The service will be also available through Viber, Imo, Whatsapp and Skype, the release added.
