Earlier on Thursday, the leaders and activists harvested paddy in Shalihor village under Gouripur upazila.
Krishak League district secretary Golam Mustafa Babul alias VP Babul led the inaugural programme.
They harvested boro on 80 decimals of land of one Anisuzzaman Bhuiyan. They also carried the harvested paddy to the farmer's house.
Babul said they are helping farmers in boro harvest in the district considering the ongoing countrywide crisis of farm labourers due to coronavirus pandemic.
