In Memory of Faraaz: Free eye camp in Nilphamari
Distressed Children and Infants International (DCI) and Rights and Sight for Children (RSC), in partnership with Faraaz Hossain Foundation, organised a free eye camp in Jaldhaka upazila of Nilphamari yesterday.
A total of 530 underprivileged children and adults received treatment at the camp held in Kaimari School and College in memory of late Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, says a press release.
Faraaz exhibited extraordinary courage, amazing selflessness and deeply rooted values as he stood for humanity during the Holey Artisan Bakery attack on July 1, 2016.

Among of the patients, 95 were diagnosed with cataracts and 167 with refractive errors. They will be provided with corrective surgeries and eyeglasses free of cost. Total 113 persons were provided with eye glasses.
In a message, DCI Founder and Executive Director Dr Ehsan Hoque said, “The goal of this eye camp is to give the light of vision and new hope to the unfortunate and underprivileged in memory of Faraaz.”
