Man stabbed dead in Badda
A man was stabbed dead in the capital’s Badda last night.
The victim was identified as Nasir Uddin, 35.
Quoting witnesses, Badda Police Station Sub-Inspector Saidur Rahman said Nasir locked into altercation with four others. At one point, one Arif stabbed him in the chest.
Police rushed to the spot and took Nasir to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead, Saidur said.
Locals handed Arif over to police, he added.
Officer-in-Charge Abdur Razzak said both Nasir and Arif are accused in drug cases, and the murder might be related to that.
