MA Samad passes away

MA Samad Mridha, an accused in the historic Agartala Conspiracy Case, died at a Dhaka hospital on Sunday. He was 88.

He left behind his four daughters and a son. He had been undergoing treatment at National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases.

Samad was one of the close companions of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He was buried at Dakkhin Mithakhali village of the district yesterday.
