JU students seek justice for schoolboy's murder
Students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) yesterday formed a human chain on campus demanding punishment for the culprits who killed a sixth grader in Joypurhat on March 15.
Under the banner of “Conscious Teachers and Students of JU”, the human chain was held in front of the Central Shaheed Minar.
The deceased, Abdur Rahman, was a student of Dhuroil High School.
At the human chain, teachers and students said they want home ministry's assistance to arrest the killers.
“We do not have any enemies and we are yet to know why he was murdered. I demand justice for my brother and immediate arrest of perpetrators,” said Mominul Islam, victim's elder brother.
