IPDC to give loans for books

IPDC Finance Ltd has introduced an interest-free book loan -- titled "Subodh" -- for bookworms looking to make a big haul at the ongoing Ekushey book fair.

With the slogan "Notun boiyer ghrane, subodh jaguk prane", the service was launched at Bangla Academy premises on Monday, said a press release.

One must have their National ID and the app of mobile financial service bKash to avail the offer. A recipient can take up to Tk 3,000 loan, which can be paid in three instalments.

The service can be enjoyed throughout the duration of the Amar Ekushey Grantha Mela. All information about the service can be accessed at the IPDC booth at the fair, said the press release.

The amount must be availed by three transactions.
