HC circuit bench demanded in Ctg

The High Court Circuit Bench Implementation Council, Chittagong yesterday demanded that the government establish a circuit bench of the High Court in the divisional city.

Leaders of the council raised the demand at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club.

They said there was no constitutional constraint to establish such a bench which can ease the sufferings of justice seekers.

Chittagong District Public Prosecutor Abul Hashem, who is also the convener of the council, was in the chair.
