Former BAF chief Mumtaz Uddin dies
Air Vice Marshal Mumtaz Uddin Ahmed, former chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), passed away on Sunday at the age of 75.
Mumtaz, a member of Retired Armed Forces Officers’ Welfare Association, Bangladesh (Raowa), breathed his last at Combined Military Hospital at 4:30am, said a press release.
His janaza was held at BAF Central Mosque after Zohr prayers. He was buried at BAF Shaheen graveyard the same day.
Raowa members, officials and employees deeply mourned his death and prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul.
