Finnish tourist collapses on Sylhet road

A citizen of Finland collapsed by the road this afternoon at Mirboxtula in Sylhet city.
The person has been identified as Marku (45), a tourist from Finland staying at a hotel in Sylhet city for over a month, Zedan Al Musa, additional deputy commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, said.
"He came to Bangladesh around two months ago as a tourist and has been staying at Hotel Nazal for around 45 days," he said.
"He went to see a doctor recently as he was unwell, and the doctor asked him to get admitted to a hospital, but he did not. He has been taken to Sylhet Saheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital for treatment."
The patient is still unconscious and is being treated at the hospital, said Dr Sushanto Kumar Mahapatro, resident medical officer of Sylhet Saheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital.
"It's too early to say what happened to him. We are observing his condition," the RMO added.
