Ehsanul Haque passes away

KM Ehsanul Haque (Peyara), former secretary, Ministry of Defence, breathed his last in a hospital at Saint Loui, USA on May 8, at the age of 76. He was suffering from multiple health complications.

He left behind his wife Najma, daughters -- Tumpa and Tatum, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death, said a press release.  He joined Pakistan Taxation Service in 1969 and thereafter rose to the rank of secretary to the government before his retirement in 2004.
