DIU included in THE University Impact Rankings 2019

Daffodil International University (DIU) has been included in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings-2019.

Times Higher Education on April 3 published the results of the first University Impact Rankings -- a new league table that assess universities' performances against the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.

Daffodil International University is the only Bangladeshi university which has made its spot in Times Higher Education (THE), QS Rankings and UI GreenMetric Rankings, said a press release.

To mark this achievement, DIU organised a Special Celebration of Achievement of World University Rankings yesterday at the 71 Milonayoton on its campus.

Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, vice-chancellor of the university was present as the chief guest, while Prof Dr Kabirul Islam, director (research) of DIU presided over the program.

The event was also addressed by Prof Dr S M Mahabub Ul Haque Majumder, pro-vice chancellor of DIU and Prof Dr Engineer A K M Fazlul Hoque, registrar of the university.
