DCI-RSC orphanage gets internet connection
The Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI), and Rights and Sight for Children (RSC) have set up internet connection in computer lab of SunChild Home orphanage in partnership with BRACNet.
The main objective of the programme is to make the children skilled in IT and computer, says a press release.
RSC and DCI have been taking care of SunChild Home, a residence for orphans, since 2010. Fifty girls are living there with safe accommodation, advanced healthcare, proper education and extracurricular activities.
Syed Farrukh Ahmed, CEO of BRACNet, inaugurated the ceremony. Shoaib Kabir, vice chairman of RSC; and Abdul Monaem, joint secretary of RSC, were also present.
Besides, Iffat Ahmed Shusmit, senior executive of BRACNet; Abdus Satter, finance director, RSC; Jamal Abdun Nasher, programme manager, RSC; and Rajen Kumar Shaha, programme manager, RSC, were present, among others.
