DCI launches youth leadership award at Rajshahi College

Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI), an international non-profit child rights organisation, yesterday introduced “Dr Ehsan Hoque Youth Leadership Award” at Rajshahi College.

The special award has been introduced for students demonstrating extraordinary community services and compassion for the underprivileged, said a press release.

The award was presented to Sobnom Mostary, a fourth-year student of sociology department, for establishing “Samajik School”, to ensure education of underprivileged children.

Principal Prof Md Habibur Rahman attended as the chief guest, while Jamal Abdun Nasher Romel, programme manager of DCI, was also present.
