College student's body found in the Bay

A college student was found dead yesterday, more than six hours after he had gone missing in the Bay of Bengal in Chittagong.

The body of Asif Shahriar Rubel, 18, was caught in fishing net in Jelepara area, said Hamidul Islam, assistant sub-inspector of Patenga Police Station.

Asif went missing after he along with his friends had gone to Patenga sea beach around 12:30pm that day, said the ASI.
