Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) yesterday arrested the helper of the bus responsible for the incident in which a female government official lost her left leg in Dhaka’s Banglamotor area in August.

Acting on a tip-off, PBI arrested helper Bacchu Mia from Mymensingh, Special Superintendent of Police Bureau of Investigation (Dhaka Metro North) Bashir Ahmed.

Bacchu Mia had been on the run since the incident occurred on August 27, sources at PBI said.
