BRTC to get 400 more buses: Quader
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday said Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is getting 400 more buses on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
“Two hundred buses have already been added to BRTC fleet under Indian line of credit and 400 more are on their way,” he said at BRTC office in Motijheel while discussing Eid-time traffic management.
Quader urged BRTC officials to improve service and restore its goodwill. He also underscored the need for making BRTC a profitable organisation.
BRTC Chairman Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan and officials concerned were present.
Asian Development Bank Country Director Manmohan Parkash earlier called the minister and expressed his keen interest to impart training to drivers.
