Beware of fraudulence using military identity: ISPR
Bangladesh Army yesterday advised all to remain alert against frauds, who are identifying themselves as army officers and seeking financial assistance from candidates.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement in this regard.
Army has been deployed from December 24 as a striking force ahead of the national election and some frauds are reportedly active in the field for personal gains, using fake military identities, reads the ISPR statement.
In the meantime, frauds have already demanded money from candidates in return of providing extra facilities to them, posing as lieutenant colonel and officers with higher ranks, reports BSS quoting the statement.
A few frauds have already been arrested, the statement said.
