BCL issues one-month ultimatum
A faction of the dissolved Chittagong University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) yesterday issued a one-month ultimatum to university administration, to hold CU Central Student Union (Cucsu) election.
It came up with ultimatum at a human chain formed at Cucsu building, threatening to launch a tougher movement if their demands are not met within the time.
Addressing the programme, former CU BCL General Secretary Fazle Rabbi Sujan said, “The university authorities have been depriving students from their basic rights for a long time. As there is no elected representative at the senate, the authorities impose their unfair decisions on students.”
