Anwar Ali’s death anniv

Today marks the 31st death anniversary of Dr Syed Anwar Ali, a freedom fighter, says a press release.

On the occasion, prayers will be offered at his Banani grave in Dhaka.

Anwar Ali, a founder of Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, was also one of the broadcasters of the proclamation of independence of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 26 in 1971 from Kalurghat in Chattogram.
