Today is the 148th birth anniversary of Abdul Karim Sahityabisharad, a pioneer researcher, author and collector of medieval Bangla literature, says a press release.
Marking the day, Samaj Rupantar Adhyayan Kendra will hold a memorial lecture in Kabi Shamsur Rahman seminar room at Bangla Academy at 4pm today. National Professor Serajul Islam Choudhury will deliver the lecture and Prof Ahmad Kabir will preside over the programme.
