5 madrasa students hurt as wall collapses in Dhaka

At least five students of a madrasa were injured as an under-construction wall of an adjacent building collapsed on the tin-shed structure that housed the madrasa in Dhaka’s Aftabnagar area this evening.

Five students of Aftabnagar Madrasa were hurt as an under-construction wall collapsed around 7:30pm, Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The identities of the injured victims could not be known immediately, the police official said.

They were taken to a nearby clinic, he added.
