3rd nat’l science fest begins at JU

The third national science festival will begin at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus today.

The slogan of this year’s fair organised by Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is “think scientifically, expose your ability”.

Over 1,000 students from 10 universities, 30 colleges, and 50 schools will participate at the festival.

Dr Mohammad Kaykobad, professor of Computer Science and Engineering department, BUET, will inaugurate the festival in presence of JU Pro Vice-Chancellor (administration) Prof Amir Hussain and eminent plasma scientist Prof A A Mamun.

The two-day festival will feature inaugural sessions, poster presentations, a project showcasing and quiz contests for university-level students, idea contests, robotic workshops, Rubik’s cube gaming competition among others.
