1st convocation of JnU to be held in Jan ‘20
The first convocation of Jagannath University (JnU) will be held in January 2020.
“The convocation will be held on January 11 or 18. The chancellor will finalise the date,” JnU VC Prof Mijanur Rahman told The Daily Star yesterday.
“A total of 18,284 certificate holders completed registration for the convocation,” said JnU Registrar Md Ohiduzzaman.
Jagannath College was turned into a university in 2005. University officials claimed that a convocation could not be held previously due to lack of space and other logistical restrictions.
Online registration for the convocation began on March 1 and ended on May 15.
