Newborn's body found in travel bag

Police recovered the body of a newborn from a travel bag in Bonarpara Station of Gaibandha early yesterday.

On information, railway police at around 1:00am recovered the bag in an abandoned condition at a passenger shed and inside found the body of the newborn, a baby boy, wrapped in cloths.

The body was sent to Gaibandha Hospital for an autopsy.
