New sailors inducted into Navy

Passing out parade of new sailors of Bangladesh Navy under batch A/2018 was held at BNS Titumir parade ground in Khalishpur of Khulna yesterday.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed reviewed the parade and took salute as chief guest.

The naval chief called upon the fresh recruits to attain competency based on the knowledge they acquired in the naval academy.

Admiral Nizamuddin urged the sailors to defend the independence and sovereignty of the country at any cost, being imbued with the spirit of the country's freedom fighters.

Principal staff officers of naval headquarters, commodore commanding of Khulna and high civil and military officials were also present at the programme.
