The students are: Anupam Datta, Himel and Niamat Hossain Siam, said Prof Fazlul Haque Pathan, pro-vice chancellor of MMC.
All classes of undergraduate level have also been suspended for an indefinite period. Undergraduate students were asked to leave dormitories by 6:00pm.
But, examinations and other academic activities of the medical college will continue as usual, he added.
Last Wednesday, two groups of students were locked into a quarrel over a love affair which left Shahidul Islam, a fifth-year student, injured. Shahidul is now undergoing treatment at the hospital, the pro-VC said.
