Miscreants kill woman in Dhaka

A group of miscreants killed a woman and injured another at a fifth-floor flat in Dhaka’s Jatrabari tonight.

The victims were identified as Shilpt, 24, and her critically injured sister-in-law Parul Begum, 25.

“Parul was admitted at Dhaka Medical College Hospital,” Anisur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Zatrabari Police Station, told The Daily Star.

A group of 3 people went to their rented flat on 5th floor at Rasulpur in Dhonia area and attacked them with sharp weapons around 12:20am, police said quoting Parul.

Police is investigating into the incident and will brief media later,” the OC said.
