Man held over raping 6-yr-old girl

Police yesterday arrested a 50-year-old man on charges of raping a 6-year-old girl in Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur on Thursday.

A Faridpur court sent Hakim Biswas, a co-villager of the girl, to jail after he had been produced before it, said Madhukhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Saiful Alom.

He raped her in a toilet at her house while she was home alone, the OC quoted locals as saying.
