Man held with 4,000 Yaba pills in abdomen at Dhaka airport

Customs Intelligence yesterday detained a passenger with 4,000 Yaba pills in his abdomen at the capital's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Imam Hossain, 30, of Teknaf landed at the airport from Cox's Bazar, Mohammad Zakaria, assistant director of Customs Intelligence told The Daily Star.

Imam, who was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital to get the tablets out, confessed that he swallowed 40 packets containing 100 tablets each, he said.
