Man dies falling thru' glass wall of Barisal hotel

A person died after falling to the ground through the glass wall of hotel room in Shaheed Minar area of Barisal city yesterday.

The deceased Imran Hossain Shikdar, 31, of Fishery Road area of the city rented the room on the 4th floor of Hotel Arena with his friend Sumon on Sunday night.

A hotel staff said 11 youths were with them in the hotel till 11:30pm on the day.

Police detained Sumon and recovered a bottle of foreign wine, cash money and playing cards from the room.

Visiting the spot police said there were signs of scuffle near the broken glass wall.
