Man arrested with fake notes in Ctg

Police arrested a man with fake notes worth of Tk 31,500 in Chittagong city’s Riajuddin Bazar area early yesterday.

The arrestee is Faruk, 36, son of Anu Mia from Patiya upazila, said police.

Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammed Mohsin said Faruk has been circulating fake notes in markets before Eid for the last few years

A case was filed in this regard with the police station.
