Police last night arrested the prime accused in the gang rape of a female garment worker in Narayanganj 16 days ago from Dhaka. Bus driver Chand Miah alias Chandu, 45, was held from Savar Bus Stand area, said Sonargoan police.

On May 11 night, the garment worker was raped allegedly by Chandu, his helper Rubel and two others inside a moving bus while she was returning home. The following day police arrested Rubel. The other two are still on the run.
