Khaleda opens photo exhibition on Zia marking his death anniversary

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia inaugurated a daylong photography exhibition on the life and works of party founder and former president Ziaur Rahman at the capital's Jatiya Press Club yesterday, organised by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal on his 34th death anniversary.

Earlier in the day, she distributed food among the poor at different parts of the city for the second consecutive day, with her party complaining that police destroyed a stage set up for distributing food in front of Gulshan city corporation market, an allegation denied by police.
