Khaleda might be arrested on return
There is no existence of the Islamic State in Bangladesh, and the terrorist group has no reason to be here, prime minister's special envoy HM Ershad said yesterday.
He said the West nourished IS by supplying arms and ammunitions, and they were now fighting the same terrorists.
The Jatiya Party chief made the comment while talking to journalists at his residence Palli Nibash in Rangpur city.
He also said BNP chief Khaleda might get arrested after her return to the country from London. The allegations against her about embezzling orphanage money were proved; so she will not return now, he added. Ershad said his party would contest in the upcoming municipal election.
