Khadiza's life support removed

The life support of Khadiza Begum Nargis, who is now undergoing treatment at the Square Hospitals in Dhaka, has been removed as her condition is improving gradually, doctors said.

She was still unconscious and kept in oxygen support, they added.

She will be under observation for at least two to three more weeks, said AM Rejaus Satter, a physician at the hospital. Meanwhile, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim visited Khadiza last evening.
