JU pro-BNP staff protest snapping of Khaleda's utility services

Pro-BNP teachers and staff of Jahangirnagar University (JU) yesterday formed a human chain protesting the snapping of electricity, cable television and phone connections to the Gulshan office of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Denouncing the government for the act, the speakers at the programme, in front of JU Shaheed Miner, also criticised intellectuals and civil society representatives for remaining silent about the ruling party's autocratic move.
