JU marketing master's students demand removal of teacher
Master's students of Jahangirnagar University's marketing department have submitted a written complaint against one of their teachers, demanding that the authorities remove her from all academic activities of the batch.
About 33 students out of 47 met Vice Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam on Tuesday and handed over the written complaint against assistant professor Nigar Sultana, also assistant proctor.
The students alleged that Nigar Sultana abuses her power, misbehaves with students, interferes in personal and family affairs of the students, threatens to hamper their academic life, and humiliates students inside and outside the classroom.
They threatened to boycott all academic activities if their demand is not met.
Contacted, Nigar Sultana said all allegations against her are baseless and untrue.
