Timir Dutta laid to rest

Freedom fighter and journalist Timir Dutta was cremated at Barisal Mahashamshan Ghat early yesterday.

Timir Dutta, 62, former senior reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, died at his home in the capital on Sunday.  After giving state honour at Jatiya Press Club, his body was taken to his ancestral home on Agorpur Road in Barisal city.
