House owner shot by former tenant

An alleged drug peddler shot his former house owner in the capital's Mugda on Wednesday.

The injured Mohammad Jahangir Alam, 48, is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Victim's wife said Shahan Shah, a drug dealer in the area, stormed into their house with 8/10 men and shot on her husband on his chest.

Jahangir drove Shahan out from his house after came to know that he is a drug trader, she added.
