HC orders probe into 'hearing list irregularities'
A High Court bench yesterday ordered a probe into whether its bench officers committed irregularities in fixing the number of cases in the hearing list and whether the bench officers took money for this purpose.
The Supreme Court registrar general has been asked to conduct the probe, as some lawyers brought allegations against bench officers Rafiqul Islam and Mamunur Rashid and member of lower subordinate services (MLSS) Sojib of committing corruption and anomalies in making the cause list of the bench on June 19.
