Four held with Yaba stash

Police arrested four people and recovered 2,700 Yaba tablets from their possessions in Chittagong yesterday.

In Lohagara, 1,200 pieces of Yaba tablets were found from three passengers -- Ziaur Rahman, 19, Nurul Kabir, 18, and Md Sadek, 18, -- after police intercepted a Chittagong-bound bus, from Cox's Bazar, in Chunati area.

Meanwhile, 1,500 more Yaba tablets were found from a passenger of another Chittagong-bound bus at Prem Bazar in Banshkhali.
