First return hajj flight arrives
The first return hajj flight of this year reached Shahjalal International Airport safely last night.
Shakil Meraj, managing director (PR) of Bangladesh Biman Airlines, said that the state-run carrier carried some 420 hajj pilgrims and arrived in the airport safely around 8:30pm.
He also said Biman Bangladesh Airlines would conduct a total of 169 flights till October 5 to carry the pilgrims back home.
Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines carried some 54,873 hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 187 flights.
